Labrador Grooming

Ways to groom your Labrador.
One of the most important daily tasks is to groom your Labrador. This is a great bonding activity and will keep him looking wonderful. Unfortunately, Labradors shed quite a lot. If you have a black Labrador, you will notice that they tend to shed their whole coat during Spring and Autumn! You will observe golden Labradors, however, shedding regularly over the whole 12 months.
Your whole house will be full of dog hair.
Certain grooming tools are available to assist in the grooming of your Labrador. A strong, quality bristle brush is the first essential tool you need. To reduce the amount of hair in your house, use this brush once or twice a week to remove loose hair from your Lab's coat. A sleek, shiny coat is a sign of good health, so the regular brushing will ensure this through the distribution of natural oils in your Lab's coat. While your Labrador is shedding, it is a good idea to brush you Labrador daily.
