Keeshond Dogs Are the Best
- 22/11/2010
Through out my life I have had over 3 Keeshonds. Here is some basic information about the breed. They are a northern breed dog that has a double fur coat. What this means is that they have a bottom layer and top layer. They really like winters but they get really hot in the summer time. This means is that they need a lot of attention to their grooming. If you like medium sized dogs then this breed is for you.
They get a long with the family pack, and they are wonderful with kids. Keeshond Dogs are also a good watch dogs for your family, and they are really smart. Keeshonds are really good in agility and obedience classes.
The Keeshond do have some problems. They have separation anxiety, and they have a mind of their own. I know as a dog owner you will help them out with this. If you don't teach your dog the right way he will get bored and be a destructive dog.
The best place for a Keeshond is a house with a big back yard, but you can have a Keeshond in an apartment. You still need to take them out for long walks and let them get all of their energy out.
Here are the names of the Keeshond dogs that I had. They were and are named Jasper, Gonzo, and Beauty. Keeshond Dogs will live to be around 12 to 15 years old. They do have some medical problems that you need to be worried about. I think the one big problem is that they can have are seizures. If you see your dog having seizures then you should be taking them to the vet right away.
At the end of the day if you are having a bad day at work they will be their waiting for you and they are going to give you a big Keeshond kiss.
