1. Begin training your dogs when they are still puppies. If you wait for some months before you finally train them, they will be too big to handle. Remember that they are large dog breeds. It will be easier if you introduce their training before they get bigger.

2. Bullmastiffs does not need that petting time. With them, you need to be serious and consistent with your training. It will make them become more motivated with the activity. They love to do work than play.

3. As the owner, your need to also be strong. Your dog will become really upsized and you need to always stay in control. Show your dog that you are the boss and you will introduce the rules to him.

4. The bullmastiffs need some time before they can finally understand what you are trying to say to them. Even though they are very intelligent dogs, you still need to understand their mind capacity. They are not that quick learners, but once they do understood the word, they will remember it always.

5. Communicate properly with them. Use simple words and instructions when training them. Anyway, you will just train them how to be obedient and some added skills. You do not need to give rough training to them.

9. Be prepared when your dog shows stubbornness. This is very much understandable. All you need to do is learn how to hold on to the rules. If you catch them behaving badly, punish them by not talking to them. It is not best for anyone to hurt their dogs physically when they do bad things. The will only get worse when your do this. Learn to understand that pets really have a tendency to misbehave.

These tips for bullmastiff training is suited for training puppies. If you start training your dog at their older age, it can be difficult to do so and it might need some extra effort and work.
