Boxer Dogs Make Great Pets

Boxer dogs are the perfect companion for any family or individual who leads an active lifestyle. This compact pup is big on personality, and with patient and persistent training, can be a welcome addition to many homes. A Boxer's temperament is a matter of training, they should be alert but gentle, and they can be very easy-going but are can be aggressive around strangers. Boxer's should be kept indoors in either very hot or cold conditions and should only be exercised outdoors for long periods of time when the weather is moderate. A short walk or some indoor fetch is a safe way to provide exercise without the fear of overheating. Just as in humans proper exercise will help keep your Boxer in good health and should add to the longevity of their life.

Diet can help your dog's health the food your dog eats can affect his overall general health. A boxer dog's health heavily depends on the pattern of eating and the food and diet he's eating. Your dog's diet and the quality of food you feed him will naturally have a direct effect. Of course the chief element here is to feed him a balanced diet.
