Are you too confused whether to opt for a dog or a cat? Here we will tell you why your former choice is better than the later one.
(1) Dogs are regarded as man's best friend. Have you ever heard any saying like this about cats?
(2) You can take your dog for a nice long walk. Your dog will follow you wherever you go. Your cat will not take one step to a place, where it doesn't want to go unless you carry it.
(3) Dogs are believed to be friendly pets, while cats are supposed to be loners.
(4) Dogs tend to have a stronger bond with their owners. Cats, on the other hand, will come near you only when you are feeding them something.
(5) Your dog will understand when you're sad and low. However, your cat won't care how you're feeling, as long as it gets its meal on time and a cozy place to settle.
(6) Your dog will help you to find your lost sock when you're getting late to work. Your cat will be the one who is nicely sleeping on top of that sock.
(7) You can play fetch with your dog. The only game that your cat will play with you is mice hunting.
(8) A dog will put his master's life ahead of its own. Its love is selfless. But a cat will put itself above everyone and everything. It is one of the most selfish animal you will every find.
(9) Your dog can be trained. You can make your dog sit, stand, crawl roll and do so many other things on command. Has anybody ever come up with a way to train cats?
(10) If burglars break into your house in the night, your dog will take care of them. Your cat, on the other hand, won't even bother to wake you up.
(11) Dogs will listen to you when you are talking. But your cat will simply act as if you don't exist and go to sleep before you open your mouth to speak.
(12) Dogs are more obedient than cats. They will try their best to be on your good books. Cats, however, don't even care whether you like them or not. They won't sacrifice anything to make you like them.
(13) One last question, who's smarter dogs or cats? Need we say more?
Also, worldwide dogs are adopted more than cats as pets. So there lies your answer.
