You will see that chase almost everything they see moving in the ground. Unfortunately, some Cocker Spaniels also have a habit of chasing the cows and sheep, especially the newborn lambs. It’s important to put your dog on the lead if your dog’s prey drive is high.
Exercise needs
Cocker Spaniels love to go for long walks through woods and run through fields. They also swim in rivers whenever they get the opportunity. Their active nature demands a lot of exercises to keep them fit and happy. You can provide them one hour walk, with a few minutes of playing fetch. They also enjoy running free during their daily walk and seem better behaved after a good run.
