Human Food Dogs Can And Cannot Eat
- 08/10/2017
Dog food sometimes may be way expensive for so many people. But what if I tell you that your dog can eat the very same food you eat? What if you can save a few dollars and still share your food your best friend?! What if you no longer have to choose between burning your pocket or owning a dog?! That sounds so surreal, right?
The good news is it doesn’t. That wasn’t not meant to just tap on your shoulder. That’s so true and so real. You will see yourself in a sec.
And if time is another issue for you, no worries. Below, we have compiled a list of some of the most common human foods that dogs can and cannot eat. The list is divided into four categories, as follows:
The first category of human foods includes foods that you should give to your dog without any worry. They include pineapples, cucumber, bananas, bell peppers, cabbage, chicken bone, fish, oranges, plums, peas, rice, spinach, lettuce, sweet potato, raw eggs, and beans.
The second category contains human foods that should be given to your dog within reasonable limits. They include blueberries, watermelon, mushrooms, broccoli, mango, bread, apples, strawberries, cheese, cherries, figs, pork, honey, ginger, sunflower seeds and milk.
The next category contains human foods that dogs can eat, but they are not recommended. They should be avoided for your dog’s well-being. Examples include celery, almonds, shrimp, ice cream, popcorn, rib bones, tuna, and cinnamon.
The last category contains human foods that are not safe for dogs. They include onions, cashews, peanuts, ham bones, lemons, pecans, pistachios, pomegranate, olives, cranberries and French fries.
See? Your dog still can eat most of the very same food you eat, without any health issues!
The infographic below further clarify each category and the food it contains.
