Dog Friendly Restaurants In Dublin
- 31/08/2017
Our dogs are our stalwart companions who can be forever at our side. When at home that will be sat near or on us, come to us for food or to be let out, and always be happy to see us. We will take our dog for walks for exercise and fun, and take it to numerous places we visit. Unfortunately, this can be difficult, as there are many locales that won't allow you to take your dog. This can be tough on us, especially if we're fans of certain food, as our choices become limited. If you want to enjoy some Mexican with your dog in tow, you'll likely have to order in. There are some beacons of hope, however, as there are several restaurants in Dublin that are dog-friendly, and here are some of the best.
Pupp
With a name like Pupp, you know it's a place for dog lovers. This restaurant isn't just welcoming of dogs, it is dedicated to them. Described as Dublin's first ever dog café, it is a location you can get something to eat, drink and spend time with your canine companion. Found in Clanbrassil St Lower, you can visit Monday to Sunday, for breakfast or lunch, with dinner available on Thursday. Cakes are the main food for people here, with a full brunch menu and then burgers and salads later in the day. They are happy for people to bring their dogs, with food there for them. While there, check out their store for doggy treats and items.
Herbstreet
If you're looking for somewhere to grab food with friends or family, then you can head down to Herbstreet. This casual and stylish eatery has many means for any time of the day. It's open 0830 to 1700, Monday through Sunday. They boast great fish and pancakes, with wines from across all of Europe. Have your breakfast, lunch or dinner here and the best part, of course, your dog is welcome if you sit outside on the patio. A great place to eat during the day, bring your dog and have a wonderful meal.
The Dog House Blues Tea Room
The Dog House Blues Tea Room is perfect for a relaxing time. Visit them 0900/1100 until late, Monday to Sunday, at Howth Dart Station, and you can enjoy many great meals, desserts and snacks. It's a restaurant brimming with character, and there's even a bed if you want a more relaxing dining experience. You can try their 'Scooby Snacks' for some quick simple and recommended food. Their dog loving nature extends to more than their name and logo, as you can also bring your dog with you and have a great time with your canine by your side.
