London Now Has A Bus Tour Just For Dogs
- 17/01/2017
From today until 19 January, MORE TH>N (yes, the insurance company) will be offering a tour bus specially designed for dogs.
The K9 bus takes dogs (and their humans, if they really want to tag along) on a sightseeing tour around London, with stops in the best parks and walking spots, as well as a talking tour of the places in London with rich dog-related history – like the ministerial dogs of Downing Street, the corgis of Buckingham Palace, and London’s only dog cemetery.
Dogs can jump off the bus to stroll around the parks if they fancy, and owners will be provided with leaflets mapping out nearby dog-friendly pubs, bars, and restaurants so everyone can relax and refuel post-walk before hopping back on board.
The route lasts around an hour and a half, and is narrated by an expert commentator.
It starts and ends at Millbank (right near the Tate Britain, so you can pop to see some art with your pooch afterwards), and the bus will run three times a day – departing at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm.
Or, you could just take your pooch on your regular bus route while spouting some entirely made-up facts about how dogs actually built the entire city.
