It was bred through 1900-2000 in Cuba. It is preferred as the Cuban's pet dog. It is considered as the National Dog of Cuba. The traditional responsibilities of Havanese are for companion, playmate of the children, herder of the poultry flock and a watch dog. Get to know more about the Havanese.
