Keeshond Pups Are a Bundle of Joy to Have!
- 22/11/2010
I remember it was fun having a Keeshond pups running around the house. They are very furry with a lot of energy. Socializing your puppy should be a thing that you do with your pup from day 1. You want your Keeshond to be a happy dog and well balanced. You don't want your dog to act badly when he or she meets someone or outside in unfamiliar place.
You want to expose your puppy to new situations so they get use to the surprises of every day life. This can be done by enrolling the puppy or dog into obedience classes. You can take your puppy to puppy kindergarten or puppy training class. When you walk your puppy you are giving him socializing that he or she needs. Everyday you will take them to a new place with different sounds and smells.
You should have your friends with other dogs come around and play with your new puppy so he gets to socialize with other dogs. You should also train your puppy the basic obedience and that is sit, stay, come, and lay down. These will help you and your puppy.
When your puppy grows up he is going to have a lot of fur and needs good brushing every week, so your dog doesn't get mates. When you get your puppy you need to buy the right tools for brushing your puppy. You can buy pin brush, line brush to get the dead hair. For the toe nails you can use a scissor-type clippers and an electric grinding tool after that to round them off and to further get down to the quick of the nail.
