We have been minding a JRT for quite a while this year and she goes everywhere (little dogs are so much harder to keep an eye on!).
She goes upstairs and gets under our duvet and goes for a snooze.  Skye (Bernese) has now decided that if daisy can go upstairs so can she - problem is she can't / won't come back down.

So we have a 45KG monster puppy bolting up the stairs and then bouncing from room to room and bed to bed until she gets bored and wants to come down.  Our stairs are wooden and don't have backs on them so she puts her front two paws on the top steps and then gets scared......she lies at the top of the stairs and HOWLS until my OH goes up and carries her down (all 7 and a half stone of her), then when we're not looking she does it again!

We had a baby gate in the other house but gave it away when we moved, think we need to get another one sharpish.

We recently bought two budda bags (like bean bags except with memory foam), we got a 4 foot and a 6 foot.  I have mine the 4 foot in front of the fire, well my GR has decided that's his and Skye has decided the big one is hers.  I just copped that on Saturday night I was sitting on the floor leaning against my budda bag with Bruce passed out asleep on it and the cats between me and the fire and my OH was also on the floor with Skye passed out on his one.  Started to make me wonder, who exactly is in charge in my house????  Also, just bought them 5 chicken fillets to have for their dinner tonight / tomorrow cos I'll be late home and was feeling guilty.

Really hope I'm not alone in my madness....

This is our 2 seater leather couch that was bought for the kitchen so we (the humans) could sit on it while watching tv. Needless to say himself has gotten the most use out of it and uses it much more than we do. Think it was probably quite an expensive over extravagent dog bed tbh. LOL

Oh and that's how he nearly always sleeps on it! LOL

Chortle, Chortle ... I think we've got the same "sofa" in our Office. Press a button and the legs move so that you can become comotose in a few movemvements?

Just don't catch any little 'uns underneath before they get the heck outta way?

I don't get to use it much either, but OH is happy there with the "brood" who all jump on when ONE person is on it? Why do I feel left out?

I will post some photos too ...

If I ever manage to get on the sofa I have to share it with 3 cockers. It could be worse, the labs could get on as well and there would be no room for me....

I have to say i'm with LB on this one. Sam is not allowed on any of our furniture. He has his own comfy bed to himself.

I was feeling slightly sorry for myself on Sunday (after poisoning myself on Saturday night!) so was lying on the sofa with a duvet a pillow.  Bruce managed to wangle his way under the duvet and curled into me with his back against my belly and his head on my pillow.  My OH said we were both like that for at least an hour and both snoring!!  Really need to think of some ground rules in my house :)
Bruce and Skye are soon to be Aussie doggies :)

Hahah reminds me of my dog. He sleeps on MY bed when I am not home. How do I notice? Well, it is still warm and crinkly when I check come back home.

That means he sleeps in the bed, when he hears me he just jumps off :P
