Charlie tends to get hyper moments and sprint full whack around the garden, well I finally got one of these hyper moments on camera. This is after an hour in the groomers and an hour and a half running on the beach with another dog so he should've been tired! He tucks his tail right up between his legs, and sprints full pelt around in circles for about a minute before tiring himself out and then drinking loads of water. You always know just before he goes into one of these moods as he gets so worked up and excited, and as soon as you open the door he's gone like a shot sprinting , you don't even have to throw something for him he just runs in circles chasing nothing in particular. Anyone else's dog do this? Have trawled through youtube looking for other dogs who do this but can't find any. Is it a cairn thing or do I just have a dog that thinks he's a greyhound?Hope this works. Excuse the poor quality, it was taken on my phone, he never gives me time to run and find the camera!

My Greyhounds all do this, so yes, maybe you do have a dog that thinks he is a Greyhound
Great video, and your garden is lovely! Oh to have flowers that remain in the soil for more than ten minutes....

You go Charlie ...:) Yes my English Mastiff does it too (or a least tries to!) He's 100 times slower than Charlie and usually almost slips which causes him to realize he's way too big for that mularkey and so he lies down looking a bit dejected!

lovely!
Snoop does that as well, some times even on the walkies.
It is too cute, love when he does it. Your garden is quite big, mine is half of it with a stone path in the middle. He does not like them so he speeds and jumps over the path. It is to rofl about.
I think it is a bit to show off. :D those energy bursts are lovely.
