Small terrier dodging traffic in sligo

   Thought it was worth a mention here that there is a little white and brown dog on the N59 between sligo and ballina at beltra post office, he's not very road smart as he was dodging between cars and nearly had a few close ones. Stopped the car and tried to catch him but he ran as soon as he seen me coming towards him, I couldn't get close enough to him to tell but he looked like either a very small jrt or a beagle pup, couldn't tell if he had a collar on. He ran up one of the side roads and there was no way I was going to be able to catch him. 
I will be passing through the area again this evening and will bring a lead and some treats to entice him if I see him, but if anybody is passing through please keep an eye out for him. At the rate he was dodging cars and nobody seemed to be slowing down for him he won't last long.

	Thanks, I'll crosspost it in a couple of places, I'm heading into Sligo on Friday, so will drive this way, will keep an eye out. A friend works in Manorhamilton and so does this journey twice a day, will let her know as well.

	Thanks, passed by again this evening and no sign of him. My aunt lives up along the back roads up past the PO and seen a dog matching his description on her lane about an hour after I seen him, if it is him then he's travelled a good distance in off the main road and up some of the side roads.
