Found near Newcastle West, Co.limerick. Young (1-2yo we think) Honey and White Shi Tzu. Acts like she was a house dog, house trained, used to being on a lead, loves company.
We're getting her scanned today to see if she's chipped.

I can be contacted on 087 121 3954.

yeah my mum had shi tzu's for years and she says 18 months as well.

Got her scanned and she's not chipped. Notified Guards, Limerick animal welfare and put it on a couple of local radio stations. Nobody has come forward yet tho. My brother thinks she could have been dumped but she's had loads of human company and seems like she was a very well looked after dog. We'll give it a few weeks and if nobody claims her i think my brother will keep her. He never really been into my dogs but loves her, maybe cause she doesn't slobber and is much smaller than mine :)

Awww lovely! handy for that sweet baby:) she looks a little dote really mean that very very cute face. No chip. that really annoys me breeders are so lazy. Personally I wouldnt buy a dog without it being chipped from a breeder it screams penny pinching and what elas has not been done. worming / jabs/ proper soc. grrrrrrr

yeah she's cute :-) Got her groomed, well nearly shaved, her coat was so matted groomer reckoned it was best to take most of it off and its not too cold so it came off.
Nobody has got in touch to claim her so she's gone to live with my brother who found her.

Strange that noone came forward to claim that adorable little thing, especially since her being housetrained etc. indicates that she was indeed a pet at one stage.
Glad to hear that she's got a new home though! You'll have to post some pictures when she has settled in!

Glad the little Mite ran into you!

Very sad to hear someone did obviously not care about a lost family member.
The only thing I can think of is that the family was on vacation and the dog went out to explore the foreign area. But still, I would not leave if my dog would be missing.

Please share some pics with us of the lovely groomed girl. What is her new name for her new live?

Cheers
Snoop Dogg and me.
