Reality:-)

So today I was making chit chat with a patient and always ask if they have pets as they usually love talking about their dog or cat and tend to take me and the injections better. Anyway today, a little old lady asked me what I had. I think I had to think for five minutes to see how many hens and roosters are there!! (52), four dogs and two cats. She asked me what it cost to keep the show running and I was thinking later. Crikey its scary stuff:-) . So I summarised in an effort to justify the outgoings to my wallet, I'd rather be broke with my pets than loaded and have none. Just as well then. Not like I'd part with them:-). I'll remember that at the budget in December!

I done a rough count up of costs as well this evening and it is a little shocking when you sit down and think about it! But wow 52 hens and roosters! I think I remember you posting here when you got your first few, or maybe I'm thinking of someone else!
