Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me with a  problem. my 2 year old dog (molly) has been staying with my in laws for the past 5 weeks. she came home to me a few days ago and in getting on fine...not a bother. however they have a 4 month old puppy called Bo(mix breed with half a highland terrir) and hes not taking the seperation too well. they got on great togther and spent most of the day together. at night when they were together Bo would bark and bark for an hour or 2 and then stop. there were locked in a really big room with water, radio on and a small might and were well walked and stimulated during the day. after an hour or 2 Bo would stop barking. He would start barking again at 830am on the button every morning. now that molly is gone though he is barking all night long and never stops. does anyone have any advice what to do......im guessing he is scared cause hes on his own now but im sure the neighbours dont appreciate it nor the owners. any advice wiould be greatfully appreciated
Thanks

:( dogs love company. If I separate out my pack here there is murder too. they all would bark! one in particular comes to mind! well its back to the drawing board for the puppy its like leaving the saftey net of the litter all over again so back to basics retraining. they need to do what they did when they got the pup first.Confused your in trouble with them now!!
The morning howl is driving me mad!

Oh good luck with that one.....I recently got my GR neutered and the night he spent in the vets was torture for everyone.  My Bernese howled the place down, even when I sat with her.  We were minding a miniture jack russell over Christmas and New Year and apparently since she's gone home she's now howling all night too missing my dogs.  I think they all just want company, preferably doggie company!
