Hi all,
We brought the doggies to Kerry for a night on Saturday.  We live in Kildare so part of my reasoning was to get them used to long car journeys seeing as we're moving in Oct.

We stayed in a fab pet friendly hotel in Sneem.  I didn't know what to expect and if felt really weird leaving them in the room while we went for dinner, I left midway through to check on them and to give them half my steak......OH thinks I'm nuts anyway so nothing new there.

Doggies loved their night away, Skye slept on her bed on the floor and snored ALL night long, so she got a great sleep.  Bruce thinks he's human anyway and cuddled into me all night, with his head on my pillows and paws EVERYWHERE.  OH had a bottle of red wine so passed out too so the only muppet that got no sleep was me.

Loved every minute of it and would def do it again.  We plan on going camping with them in Oz so at least I know to be prepared for no sleep.

We walked them for a good few miles in Killarney national park yesterday and they slept the whole way home in the car.

Just wanted to recommend the hotel if anyone is looking for one :)
Bruce and Skye are soon to be Aussie doggies :)

Thanks for the post Brucie. I'd love to go away with our dog. The only time we do go away is to stay with family and of course he is always welcome thereTongue.
