I've been kindly invited by call_me_socket over on boards.ie to post here to let you all know that I have just started Ireland's only dedicated Lost and Found Pet website.

Basically the main idea of the site is to offer free listings to those who have lost or found dogs, cats and other pets and to try to leverage the power of social networking to reunite the pets with their owners. The pet listing pages have tools to easily share the pet's details on Facebook, Bebo, MySpace, Twitter and to post the listing link to Digg and Stumble.

You may find the following links of use:
Latest Lost Dogs, Cats & Other Pets in Ireland
Latest Found Dogs, Cats & Other Pets in Ireland
Our Facebook Page - You can also upload a pet pic & description there and post in the forum or simply become a fan and spread the word
Our Flickr Group - You can post your pet pic and details here too.
Follow Us on Twitter - for the latest news from us including lost and found reports
Our RSS feed

Hope the site proves successful for some of you.  Good luck with the hunt!

Welcome!!

Not sure where to post this but, I've seen today a doggie that didn't seem to have an owner (no collar, alone etc) but I'm at work so I could only see him trought the window, half of the walls in my office are glass) he was like a big dalmatian with a lot more spots than usual and dark grey instead of white... have you heard of anyone that has lost a dog matching this description?? If he still around when i get off I'll try to get him and either call a rescue or bring him home (if Sean lets me :S) I thought i will post it here and at least if anyone is looking for him will know where he was seen last! ...

Elly
