Hi everyone,

Our terrier x has in the last few months stared resting his head on chairs or anything of a similar height and even leans against them at times, sometimes he'll even lightly sleep.

Other than that he seem fine, has a good diet and is lively and playful, so I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of this before or if its just a little quirk.

Thanks

how old ? if he is old he may find it hard to lie down and then have to get back up again.
The morning howl is driving me mad!

He's about 5 and a very playful dog so That shouldn't be any problem, although he does seem to sleep a little more lately than he was but I kinda put that down to the miserable weather.

My terrier does it the whole time too, especially in the car. He loves having a little pillow to rest his head on. Just a little quirk I'd say. It's quite funny watching him trying to get comfy until he finds something to rest his head on!
They say in cavaliers it can be a sign of syringomyelia, I think you can actually buy special beds with head rests made into them especially for SM cavaliers.
