Hi,

found a labrador (I think) puppy on Bray Beach today (27.1.), after he got into a fight with another dog. Very hungry and confused, but otherwise in good condition, no tag, don't know if he is chipped. He is mahogany brown, about 50 cm tall and well behaved.

Having problems with image upload at the moment, but pictures can be supplied. If you know whom he might belong to, please get in touch with me (085 7067778). will go to vet tomorrow to see if he recognises him.

thanks,

Henriette

I would say labrador x, chocolate labs are usually a much darker brown and don't have bits of white on them. When your at the vets ask them to scan him for a chip. Well done for taking him in!

Here's a few other sites you can post him up on if you haven't already:

Thanks for the replies. Went to the vet today. He is acutally microchipped , but exactly the  vet I went to had the dog before and apparently the people who he is registered to gave him away but wouldn't say to whom. The vet placed him with a young couple. After a week a family stopped next to them in a car, jumped out, "said this is our dog" and after the kids started crying, the couple handed the dog over.  We will have him over the weekend and the vet is trying to sort something out. such a mess and such a pitty - he is such an adorable, well trained and calm dog (the exact kind you would want to have) He is two years old and a Labrador mix.

Ok Im confused! Confused So the vet rehomed him with a couple, who then gave him away to someone else, this someone else then dropped him back to the vets saying they don't want him anymore? Confused Have I got it right? So does anyone actually own the poor fella now? Hopefully the poor fella gets sorted soon, it sounds like he hasn't had a very stable home up to now.
