Lakeland Terrier crossbreed, 10 weeks old, brother to Meg and Amie. Arnold is just adorable, he's a bit long in the body and with his short legs he resembles a Dachshund build. He's very friendly and inquisitive. Most likely won't grow to be any taller than 18" or so.

He'd be a lovely family pet. Email me at homeward.bound@yahoo.ie

Poor Scrappy (Arnold) died tragically when his collar got caught on a picket fence surrounding a rockery in his new owner's garden. His short 13 weeks of life was full of love and fun, he was a fabulous little pup... I called him Sausage as he had the shortest little legs and a long body, and his new owner named him Scrappy cos he was full of spirit and oomph!

His owner is understandably devastated....Broken Heart
He touched so many lives in his last few weeks.

Run free at the Bridge little Sausage roll....Cry

That is so very sad.  I remember someone else on here before, had the same thing happen to a friend of theirs, was it Andrea?

Such a tragedy, poor little pup, the family must be heartbroken.

Run free little man.

Omg poor little man, that is awful. RIP Scrappy.Broken Heart

Yes Bramble, it was my cousins dog, a weimerarner, hung itself by the collar on the garden fence, hence why i never leave collars on, only for walks.

That is awful. RIP lil man what a terrible thing to happen. Have heard of this happening prior to owning a dog. never leave a collar on mine.  you can get snap/breakaway colars or use cat collars for pups/lil dogs.Cry

Was sorting out photos last night and forgotten I'd taken these.... Neala was crazy about Sausage, very maternal towards him (when she wasn't teaching him how to wrestle!)
