Dogue de Bordeaux are reputed as having the biggest head in the dog world. They are short stocky mastiffs with wrinkled faces and an undershot jaw. Dogue de Bordeaux have thick skin and a dewlap on their neck.
Dogue de Bordeaux are patient and calm and very devoted to their families. They are, however, serious guard and watchdogs and are confrontational with strangers. Dogue de Bordeaux are gentle with children and family members but are not suited for inexperienced owners. Dogue de Bordeaux snore and drool.
