Do I have to keep my dog on a lead?
With the exception of the dogs classified as dangerous, it is not required by law to keep your dog on lead at all times, but it is highly advisable. Do not walk on any farmland with your dogs even if they are on a lead, as they can cause immense damage to sheep and farmland, and farmers are known to shoot on sight dogs roaming their land.
