end-of-summer.jpgThe smell of approaching autumn begins to spread in the air just in August when the mornings become colder, leaves on the trees change a green colour to a yellow one, and a heart shrinks in anticipation of the forthcoming winter.

The dogs feel almost the same. For them, winter means shorter outdoors walks, mud and frost, less activity, and a less active master who keeps looking at a watch to cease a walk and return to a warm home as soon as possible. Only playing in the snow can partly compensate summer joy and fun, but in our days it falls not that often if it falls at all.

So, before the summer is over it is necessary to consider a special summer-farewell party for you and your buddy. Other dogs and your friends are very welcome to join. And if you are scared that your dog allergies may worsen – well, don’t be we found some tips for you! More dogs – more fun!

Creative ways to say good bye to the summer

Outdoor activities with dogs are always fun ways to stay active and cheerful. Even only a look at your friend playing outside, running, jumping, rolling over the grass creates a keen desire to join him. But for the celebration the end of summer it is not enough. So, be creative in finding the way to entertain a dog and other participants of your celebration.

Here are some hints to stimulate your creativity

  • Trivial running must not limit the entertainment of your friend, rather think about proper toys and note that it is an enormous fun for any dog to break a toy to pieces, so buy several toys just for that purpose
  • Try to find a place where your dog can swim and bring the toys thrown into water or from water to the beach. Again, prepare enough toys
  • Use water shooting toys, the dogs like to get a fun of water jets
  • Balls, sticks, boomerangs, ropes should be used for entertainment as well
  • Old, good frisbee – never forget about it, use even several of them for greater fun
  • If there are few dogs at a party, try to organize a competition among them in agility, finding a thing by smell, pitch-and-go, etc.
  • Think about dog food as a culmination of the celebration, it must be delicious and unique. Tired and hungry dogs must eat it up to the last bit.

Conclusion

To celebrate summer end with a dog in a creative way is not that difficult. Just remember that the biggest joy for your dog is not playing but an opportunity to spend more time with his master, whose laughter and cheerful, stimulating commands will make a dog really happy.
