Adopt a Bichon Frise
- 31/10/2010
Bringing a pet into your home is a wonderful experience and there are many ways to do this. The most common method when you want a purebred dog is to go to a pet shop. It seems only natural. After all they come with certificates and the guarantee of a pedigree. If you have decided you want to have a Bichon Frise consider adopting your future pet from a Bichon Frise rescue centre.
Going the route of adopting from a Bichon Frise rescue centre can be very rewarding. You are providing a pet with a good home and you will feel the glow of this act of kindness every time you see your pet. If you look at Bichon Frise information you will find that even older dogs are suitable to be adopted due to their loving natures and gentle dispositions. This is a great family dog and its high level of intelligence makes it easy to train.
The advantage of going to a Bichon Frise rescue centre is the expertise that the staff will have when dealing with this breed of dog. Housebreaking is often difficult with this breed of dog and you will be able to find advice and methods that work from the staff at a Bichon Frise rescue centre. Another plus point is that you will probably be able to find a dog that is already housebroken when you adopt.
When adopting a dog from a Bichon Frise rescue centre you will be able to find out things about each individual dog's temperament. Which dogs can live with cats, which dogs can be around small children and which dogs can have other dogs with them. These are all important things that you should know before deciding to adopt a dog. You may not be able to find out all this necessary Bichon Frise information when you buy a dog. Adopting a dog also means that you can find a dog that has already been spayed or neutered.
When you are getting a new pet most people will want a puppy. The idea of the puppy is more appealing than an actual puppy. The reality is that a puppy is just as demanding as a human baby and needs constant attention from new owners, particularly because a puppy will be dealing with the separation from its mother and litter for the first time. This makes adopting an older dog from a Bichon Frise rescue centre a good option if you are not prepared for the demands of caring for a puppy.
An older dog will not need as much attention as a puppy and will have the advantage of being housebroken. Having an adult dog also means that you are dealing with the dog's fully developed personality. With a puppy there is no telling how it will turn out. In these respects adopting from a Bichon Frise rescue centre could be a much safer option than getting a puppy from a pet shop or breeder.

I was hoping to find a bichon frise to share our home. We are an adult household.Usually someone at home, and all into walks etc. Our wheaten terrier died two years ago, we were all heartbroken, he was fourteen years old, and we, finally, feel it’s time for a dog again. Do please contact me if you have a dog in need of a loving home.

I am hoping to adopt a little bichon frise (either a puppy or a young dog) and it would make me so happy to give him/her a lovely new home. I am based in Cork, but am open to offers nationwide. I would be so delighted to hear from you if you have a dog looking for an owner and a wonderful home with a garden and lots of love.
Thanks
3 and 1/2yr old Male Bichon Frise in need of a new, loving, home.
This little boy pepe is a loving, playful, energetic boy who is coming from an extremely loving home. We are completely distraught to have to rehome him so he will only go to a home where he will get the same level of care as he does now.
.
Pepe stays indoor and is a high part of a loving family. He loves severe walks a day. Loves the out doors. Preferably he should have another dog for company but a dog that is a little more confident & dominant would be best. If there are no other dogs in the home then there must be somebody at home for most part of every day. He is a young dog who loves company, attention, stimulation & can get anxiety if left alone for too long.
Pepe Is located in Cork and I'm just giving him up up to look after my very sick mother. I would love updates on his progress, if possible to.
Pm me to express your interest & tell me a little about yourself, & the home that pepe would be living in.
Thanking you.
❤️

Hi Mark,
Do you still have your bichon frise?
Hi I'm looking for a bichon frise rescue I have 3 bichons aged 9 8 and 6 two male 1 female great with children friendly and outgoing. I'm looking to rehome them as with work commitments and my daughters study we dont have the time they need anymore and i dont think its fair to them. Possibly trying to keep them all together as they have never been apart. This is a big commitment so need to make sure they are going to a home that has the time needed to care for them. Its breaking our hearts to let them go but we have to be fair to them

Hi guys I've recently lost my little maltichon pup to seizures and was wondering if there are any bichon pups available as I'm struggling to get over the loss of my little Harry.. Thanks so much
My little girl was diagnosed last year with cancer and sadly had to rehome our chihuahua because of the amount of hair he shed she developed an allergy to the hair. She's Got through treatment and is in remission. She has my heart broken for a new puppy and her oncologist gave me the go ahead for a bichon as they don't shed and won't aggregate her allergy. I'm looking for a female pup from November she's only over surgery just want to give us both a few weeks to recover please call me on 0858633990
