The 2011 '3MC4HB'..... (Three Marathon Challenge for Homeward Bound)
http://www.homewardbound.ie

Hey everyone!

Last October 2010, myself and 5 other HB supporters did the Women's Mini Marathon in Limerick to raise badly needed funds...

This year, I'm going to do three half/mini/trail marathons and hope to collect sponsorship for them as one event.
There are loads of these road races planned for the year all over the country, and the three I'll be doing to fundraise for HB are:

* The Curragh 10k in Kildare on May 15th.
http://www.kildaremarathon.ie/curragh_10k.html

* Clare Burren Marathon Challenge on May 21st.
http://www.clareburrenmarathonchallenge.com/

* Flora Mini Marathon in Dublin on June 7th.

I'm hoping that the 3MC4HB will be an annual fundraiser...

If you had planned on doing a few mini marathons here or there, consider a similar challenge to mine....(or challenge yourself to just do one) It doesn't matter where you are in the country, just choose which 3 marathons suit you to do, send me the info on them, and I'll issue you with sponsor cards straightaway, and a Tshirt closer to your first race.

Some events listed here:
http://sites.google.com/site/runninginireland/list-of-road-races
and lots of info on google as well!

Your support would be hugely appreciated by all the HB dogs!
